Roger is countered by heroes that can restrict his mobility and prevent him from jumping in and out using his two forms, like Minsitthar and Khufra.

Roger works best with heroes with high AOE damage that can nuke the enemy team to low HP for him to finish off, such as Pharsa and Vexana.
